Cancellation & No-Show Policy

  • Free cancellation when cancelled 7 or more days before arrival.
  • 3 days to less than 7 days before arrival: 25% of total bill charged.
  • 1 day to less than 3 days before arrival: 50% of total bill charged.
  • Less than 24 hours before arrival, or no-show: 100% of total bill charged.
  • Modifications to confirmed bookings made within 7 days of arrival will be treated as a cancellation and re-booking.

Child Policy

  • Children below 8 years: stay free with parents, no extra bed.
  • Children 9–12 years: extra bed charged at 30% of the double-occupancy rate.
  • Children above 12 years: charged as an adult, at the applicable meal plan rate.

How to Reach Hunder from Leh

Hunder is in Nubra Valley, roughly 120 km north of Leh. The usual road journey crosses Khardung La and takes around 4 to 5 hours.

Shared Taxi

Shared taxis run between Leh and Nubra Valley, usually leaving in the morning from Leh Polo Ground Gate. The guide notes availability from about 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, depending on passenger availability, making this a budget-friendly choice for solo travellers.

Bus from Leh

A daily bus is listed from the New Bus Stand in Leh to Hunder, departing at 8:00 AM for a nominal fare of ₹270. Buying the ticket a day in advance is advised to avoid the rush.

Private Taxi

Private taxis can be arranged in Leh for the drive to Hunder via Khardung La. The road is well travelled by tourist vehicles during the main travel season.
